Sunday 27th September 2026. Check in and number collection will be open from 9am.
The Rangers Lawn, Cornbury Park.
Cornbury Park is a thriving West Oxfordshire private countryside estate of 5000 acres, part of ancient Wychwood forest used by Henry VIII. The loop will follow tracks and paths on the estate with scenic views of the Cotswold countryside/landscape.
The terrain is a mixture of tarmac, light travel tracks and grass (fields and woodlands). We have been told that the ground is well draining and doesn't normally have standing water or soft surfaces.
There are a handful of slight inclines to climb/descend and one short, steep hill.
You can register for either:
5km Walk
10km Walk
5km Run
10km Run
The race follows a 5km circular route and those doing 10km will do the route twice. It is a mixed terrain route.
The start times will be staggard and runners will be going first.
Olivia wanted this to be an inclusive fun run or walk with a big emphasis on fun. However, everyone will have a chip timer in their number so there is an opportunity to be competitive.
No, this will be optional but it is greatly encouraged!
You can set up your own fundraising page via GiveWheel: 2026 O.K. 10k - GiveWheel. There is no minimum or maximum amount we ask you to fundraise, of course it goes without saying the more the better!
Money raised from the O.K. 10k will support our charity mission. We will be sharing how much we have raised with everyone, along with where it will be going once we have the final numbers after the event.
There is ample free parking close to the start & finish line. Our volunteer parking Marshalls will check your ticket on arrival and direct you to a parking space.
The nearest train station is Charlbury for those who want to arrive by train and get some extra steps in ahead of the start time.
Absolutely there will! Don't worry it won't wear you out, the goal is to get everyone warmed up, ready and raring to go to some great music!
Olivia wanted the event to be inclusive so yes we welcome and support child participation.
All children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult (18+) and we are unable to take responsibility for their care whilst at the event.
Babes in arms carried by adults on the walking routes is allowed.
Children aged 5 and over need to have been registered.
Children aged 12 and over can run/walk on their own if an accompanying adult is in attendance (they do no need to be on the same race).
Minimum age of participants for the 10k Run is 15 years old.
No buggies, scooters, bikes, pushchairs or similar are allowed on any of the courses as they pose a safety hazard to runners.
Walkers please "keep left" and give way to runners.
We would suggest a front or backpack child carrier for smaller children who will be joining you but won't be able to walk the whole route. This is all at your own risk.
As this event is on a private estate, near livestock and not following public footpaths we sadly can't welcome your four legged friends to this event.
There will be porta-loos available on the day at the start/finish line which is also the halfway point for those taking part in 10k.
Yes and yes.
There will be a bag check available to the walkers and runners. This will be manned and a ticketing system will be in place.
You may leave your belongings at your own risk. We suggest leaving anything valuable at home or taking it with you. Organisers will not be held responsible for any potential loss or damage to belongings that may occur.
Water will be at the start line which is also the halfway point for those doing 10k and the finish point for both the 5k and 10k.
There will be an official first aid station for those who may need help on the day.
Let the marshals wearing hi-vis vests know if you require medical assistance and they will contact the medical team.
Guests are welcome to come and spectate. We ask that you maybe best to avoid a mini bus full of entourage, there will be plenty of cheer and music for all the runners as they cross the finish line. Spectators can pre-register just so that we know numbers, You'll get a link to a registration form for this via email and the link will be open until 2 days before the event.
We are a small team and this is the very first O.K. 10k event; we aren't able to manage a wait list. Participants who have registered are able to pass on their ticket to someone else if they can no longer attend. This can all be done by the person who registered on the Njuko booking platform.
No, we cannot switch registrants from the in-person to virtual run. Those participating in the virtual run will need to upload their route and time to the platform in order to qualify for an official time and a medal.
Each finisher who has registered (age 5+) will receive a medal for their participation at the finish line.
There will also be special medals for those who place 1st, 2nd 3rd for each event: 5km Walk, 10km Walk, 5km Run, 10km Run.
For those participating in the virtual run version, medals can only be sent out within the UK we are not able to post these outside of this.
We are unfortunately unable to offer refunds or process cancellations if you can't attend on the day as planned due to injury, family emergencies, scheduling conflicts etc. Entries are non-refundable however you can pass on your ticket to a friend via the registration platform where you have signed up you can also switch to a different O.K. race on the same day, both transfer options require a small fee of £2. Funds raised will go to Neuroendocrine Cancer Charities and towards future O.K. 10k events.
In case of adverse weather conditions or other circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to delay or cancel the event. Details of an event delay or cancellation will be communicated across our website and social media channels. This is a decision we don't plan to make and would be a last resort only. The route has been carefully planned to avoid any flood risk areas.
