Help Celebrate Olivia – Cast Your Vote Today!

We’re proud to share the news that Olivia has been nominated in the Fundraiser category of the Neuroendocrine Cancer Awards.

In the months before Olivia died, she decided she wanted to set up an inclusive and fun annual  event to raise money for research into neuroendocrine cancer. The O.K. 10k fulfills Olivia’s wish was to bring people together each year to run or walk, with their children, family and friends.  

Despite being ill with advanced incurable neuroendocrine cancer she used her precious time to think about what she could do to help others. This was motivated by her own experience that awareness and treatment for neuroendocrine carcinoma (NEC) cancer fell far short of what was needed.

Olivia’s unselfish and determined wish led to her close family setting up the Olivia Kazimiera Foundation for Neuroendocrine Cancer. Then, with help from a team of volunteers, we hosted a hugely successful first O.K. 10k event in October 2025. The event was attended by over 300 participants and spectators, and has raised a substantial amount of money thanks to the huge support of all those who took part.

None of this would have happened without Olivia’s inspirational wish in the last months of her life.
