Our application to the Charity Commission for England & Wales for 'Olivia Kazimiera Foundation for Neuroendocrine Cancer' was approved on 26th August and we are now officially listed on the Register of Charities – our Registered Charity Number is 1214678.
The Charity Commission is a Government Department and the independent regulator and registrar for charities in England and Wales. This means we can now claim Gift Aid on any donations, making every pound raised go even further for example if you donate £10 we can claim back £2.50 from HMRC. It’s a big step forward and we’re so grateful for your support in helping us get here!
Gift Aid is just one of the many benefits Registered Charity status provides us to ensure we maximise the money we raise and pass on to helping those with, and effected by, Neuroendocrine Cancer.
The Charity is set up as a 'Grant Giving' Trust and run by four Trustees who are supported by many generous volunteers. Our primary aim is to raise funds which can then be given as Grants 'to relive the needs of those suffering neuroendocrine cancer'. You can read more about the charity on the Charity Commission listing which you can find here.
We want to honour Olivia's wish list and run fun events that are a true reflection of her character.
